The choir will be visiting Austria in March 2010 to do a few performances and run workshops for a number of choirs out there. Check back soon for the members blog and pictures.
They are going to continue on their countrywide tour taking in more of the south and spreading their wings up north. Fans in Guildford, Bournemouth, Camberley, Yeovil and Bath had all the fun last year, so look out for the choir coming to a theatre near you soon.
The choir has been invited once again to perform at this year Windsor Royal Tattoo (May 2010) in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Queen. The choir performed there last year and Her Majesty obviously liked what she saw.
The choir were selected to sing with a start studded array of singers and performers at ITV’s Ultimate Movie Toons, a top ten celebration of the best cartoon movie songs. Their song ‘The Bare Necessities’ was nominated as number one. Catch them with Micheal Ball on ITV1 Saturday 27th February 2010. Other singers include, Mika, Pixie Lott, Craig David, Beverley Knight and hosted by Danni Minogue.
The choir version of Jackie Wilson Higher and Higher (Your love keeps lifting me) from the BBC1 Hit Show, Last Choir Standing, has been watched 500,000 times on YouTube.
